Senior Fullstack Engineer, Reinforced Learning

About The Role

As a Fullstack Engineer at Hippocratic AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered healthcare voice agents through the development of our Generative AI SaaS products. You’ll work across the entire technology stack—front-end and back-end to deliver intelligent, voice-first healthcare solutions that are safe, scalable, and transformative.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will partner with AI researchers, product managers, designers, and healthcare professionals to translate complex requirements into performant, secure, and accessible digital experiences. From crafting seamless mobile interactions to building robust APIs and designing user-facing dashboards, your work will directly impact the way patients and providers engage with AI in clinical and consumer health settings.

What you’ll do

• Architect and scale mission-critical B2B SaaS products using TypeScript, React, Material UI, and Python/Flask to power seamless, AI-driven clinical voice experiences.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performance, cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter and React Native.
• Translate complex healthcare needs and business vision into elegant, production-ready technical architecture alongside PMs, designers, and domain experts.
• Build highly available, reusable front-end and back-end frameworks that elevate system performance and deliver intuitive user journeys.
• Champion engineering excellence by conducting high-impact code reviews, mentoring peers, and establishing modern development standards.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge AI tools and technologies to keep our product suite ahead of industry benchmarks.
• Proactively diagnose and resolve complex technical bottlenecks to guarantee maximum reliability and operational uptime.
• Drive rapid iteration and continuous delivery within an agile framework across sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Location Requirement

We believe the best ideas happen together. To support fast collaboration and a strong team culture, this role is expected to be in our Menlo Park office five days a week, unless otherwise specified..

What you’ll bring

required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer, with a focus on Typescript/React, and Python, Ruby, or Node backends.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Proficiency in database design and management using SQL and Postgres databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred:

• Experience developing and publishing cross platform mobile applications using Flutter, ReactNative, or native iOS/Android SDKs
• Professional experience with Flask Python servers
• Knowledge of Terraform with AWS services
