Your mission will be…

As a Senior Full Stack Developer within PKI Services, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and operating the PKI services used throughout Siemens globally.

You will work across the entire technology stack, from modern Angular frontends to secure Java-based backend services, while contributing to architectural decisions, technical innovation, automation initiatives, and cloud-native platform development.

Beyond software development, you will help shape the future of digital trust by supporting initiatives around AI security, Crypto Agility, and Post-Quantum Cryptography.

We are looking for someone with…

Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications supporting PKI Services.
• Build intuitive and responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies and Siemens design standards.
• Develop scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST-based APIs and service integrations.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the complete software lifecycle from requirements engineering to deployment and operations.

Technical Leadership

• Act as a senior technical contributor and trusted advisor within the service team.
• Drive architecture discussions and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
• Promote software engineering best practices, coding standards, and security-by-design principles.
• Review solutions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security, and operational excellence.

PKI & Security Engineering

• Develop solutions supporting certificate lifecycle management, digital identities, Virtual Smart Cards, and enterprise PKI processes.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization concepts based on OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Collaborate closely with PKI experts, architects, and service owners.
• Support compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cryptographic services and trust infrastructures.

DevSecOps & Cloud-Native Engineering

• Automate build, test, deployment, and operational workflows.
• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain hardened container images and cloud-native workloads.
• Support GitOps-driven deployments and operational processes.
• Contribute to platform reliability, observability, automation, and high availability.

Innovation & Future Technologies

• Enable secure adoption of AI-based business solutions through trusted identity and cryptographic services.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and modern development approaches.
• Support strategic initiatives around Crypto Agility, Zero Trust, and Post-Quantum Cryptography.
• Drive innovation and modernization of Siemens' global PKI ecosystem.
