Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance
As a member of our Customer Fulfilment (CF) Finance team, you will help leaders turn data into insight so we can keep delivering an excellent experience for our customers and find new ways to support them. We are trusted business advisors: we bring a holistic financial perspective and partner with the business to make the best possible decisions.
This role gives you a front-row seat to how those decisions are made, and the opportunity to own meaningful analysis, influence outcomes, and grow.
About the Team
Customer Fulfilment, or CF, is where it all started for Amazon. From a team of booksellers, CF has scaled into a sophisticated global network that handles millions of orders every day. Our Fulfilment Centres are at the heart of Amazon’s fast-paced operations — often called the “First Mile” because it is where most Amazon packages begin their journey.
As CF Finance, we work closely with our Operations partners to ensure leaders have reliable, up-to-date information to take the right decisions. We value the different perspectives, backgrounds and skillsets our people bring — they make us stronger.
Key job responsibilities
You use data to build reports and financial models that answer difficult business questions. You dive into cost drivers and productivity metrics, and when performance moves away from plan, you look for the story behind the numbers. You sit side by side with your Operations partners, translating data into clear, actionable insight and aligning on the right path forward.
You work independently on your own analysis while partnering closely with colleagues across the business. You will be based in one of our corporate offices and may visit our sites from time to time to ground your analysis in real operational context. No two weeks look exactly the same, and that variety is part of what makes the role rewarding.
