Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager (ABS & Security Core CSA) owns ABS & Security FP&A (Close, Forecast/Outlook, Planning) for GCR and serves as finance business partner to the ABS/Security GTM Leads and Area business leaders. ABS & Security presents significant opportunities to drive growth through upsell motions across M365 E3/E5/E7, Copilot attach and continued Security expansion. The role plays critical role to track workload-level frameworks and forward-looking insights turning data into insights, and insights into account-level action, suppoted by automation and improved analytics. It sits within the GCR AHQ Finance team.

Business Health & ROB: Own ABS & Security Forecast/Outlook, Close and Budgeting plus IAR/DWR deliverables; build workload-level analysis into whitespace, and renewal/upsell trends; articulate risks/upside to budget; lead CSA triangulation of Sub, Segment and account views; deliver clear narratives for business reviews and CFO/EFM forums.

Business Partnership: Finance BP to the ABS/Security GTM Lead; partner with SE&O, sub-region CFOs/EFMs and other CSA/Segment controllers; influence GTM strategy and account-level actions with data-driven insights on performance drivers, deal economics and investment ROI; support execution of key motions, programs and offers.

Growth & Share Gain: Drive E3/E5/E7 upsell while protecting the base; lead whitespace identification using account propensity and LxP dashboad.

IAP, Reporting Rigor & Insights Transformation: Leverage LxP and standard frameworks across Solution Plays, Subs and Segments; Increase reporting rigor to drive action on KPIs; Use AI tooling to automate reporting and enable user-driven simulations.

Thought Leadership & Compliance: Partner with CSA and controller communities, champion financial compliance standards, Microsoft privacy, security, and ethcial standards. Advnaces key compliance initiatives, ensure compliance with Microsoft financial policies and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications;

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience
• 6+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering experince

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.

Experience: 8+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering, ideally in tech/cloud/SaaS; proven ownership of forecast, close and planning cycles; knowledge of the ABS and Security portfolio and subscription business models strongly preferred.

Skills: Strong modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel and Power BI; hands-on experience using AI tools (M365 Copilot, Cowork, Copilot Studio) to automate reporting; excellent storytelling to executive audiences; strong influencing skills in a matrixed organization; fluent English and Mandarin; self-motivated, results-oriented, growth mindset.
