Senior Engineer Unit Process Engineering Soldering
Responsible for soldering process daily control, formulate process specifications, monitor process performance via statistical data, analyze production abnormalities and deliver effective improvement solutions.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Responsible for soldering process daily control, formulate process specifications, monitor process performance via statistical data, analyze production abnormalities and deliver effective improvement solutions.
- Manage DDM deviation & defect handling and MRB non-conforming lot disposition, systematically locate and verify root causes with 8D, 5Why, 7 QC tools and statistical analysis methods.
- Independently review, update and maintain process documents including FMEA, chipsheet, OJTI and GCM to ensure compliance with actual production conditions.
- Master soldering process, equipment principle and material characteristics, optimize process parameters, identify process weaknesses and drive continuous yield & quality improvement.
- Implement safe launch management for new products and engineering changes, formulate targeted launch requirements to ensure mass production stability.
- Responsible for internal technical training and new employee mentoring, formulate training roadmap and improve team overall technical capability; complete personal competency improvement regularly.
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related majors.
- Minimum 3 years semiconductor manufacturing experience, with hands-on experience in backend package assembly (soldering, die attach, wire bonding, molding etc.).
- Profound understanding of soldering process principles and on-site manufacturing control logic.
- Familiar with SPC, process capability analysis, yield improvement, process risk assessment, and proficient in FMEA, 8D, 5 Why, 7 QC Tools, DOE, MSA quality analysis tools.
- Strong data-driven analysis and on-site troubleshooting capabilities, good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent cross-team collaboration ability, able to cooperate with Production, Quality, Equipment, R&D and other departments.
- Good oral and written English communication skills for daily technical work.
