Senior Director, Transformation and Planning

What you’ll achieve

We are seeking an exceptional leader and a forward thinker to drive key strategic initiatives and business planning for Dell Support Services. You will manage a small team largely comprised of former top-tier management consultants responsible for defining and executing strategic programs.  We work collaboratively across ISG, CSG, Sales, Global Operations, corporate development, and partners. The team is responsible for both organic and inorganic strategic programs which include growth strategy, operational improvements, transformations, M&A, etc.

You will also manage the business planning function responsible for our annual operating plan, operational forecasting and analysis, impact assessment, etc.

In this role you will work on highly complex problems, providing insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the Executive Leadership Team. You will gain exposure to ELT decision-making and establish relationships across all areas of the company.

You Will:

  • Drive transformation and strategic programs to deliver financial results
  • Lead AI/Agentic and modernization efforts across our organization
  • Own planning function and deliverables with close engagement to Finance
  • Manage direct and cross-functional teams to drive a comprehensive set of actions

Essential Requirements

  • Typically requires 15-20 years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 10+ years with a Master’s degree; or 8+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience working as a Strategy Leader/Executive in a large enterprise environment
  • Proficiency leading and managing multiple workstreams, project teams and informal teams
  • Outstanding problem solving, structuring, analytical, and mentorship skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive/C-level stakeholders; ability to influence 
  • Ability to effectively work at all levels of the organization to drive results/change; flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges
  • Self-direction and motivation with the ability to operate independently; comfort with ambiguity

Desirable Requirements

  • MBA
  • Prior experience at a top management consulting firm
