Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell is looking for a high-impact Senior Director of Neoscale Business Development to build and lead our go-to-market strategy within the fast-growing NeoCloud infrastructure market. This is a strategic, builder-oriented role for someone who thrives on establishing a market foothold from the ground up — designing unique outreach approaches, forging executive relationships, and scaling a business rather than simply managing established accounts. As part of Marvell's expansion into the Neoscale segment, this leader will own the commercial strategy for engaging emerging NeoCloud providers, combining direct product sales with an indirect go-to-market motion built through Marvell's optical and AEC (Active Electrical Cable) module partners. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and relationship-builder — someone who can identify where to place bets, construct a repeatable outreach playbook, and translate early engagements into a scalable, revenue-generating business.
What You Can Expect
This role will work in close coordination with BU general managers, product line management, FAE teams, marketing, and Marvell's optical/AEC ecosystem partners to build awareness, credibility, and design activity across a broad and fast-evolving set of NeoCloud accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy & Market Foothold
- Develop and execute a differentiated go-to-market strategy for the neoscale/NeoCloud segment, from initial outreach through account maturity
- Design unique, high-impact outreach approaches tailored to founder-led, fast-moving NeoCloud organizations, where traditional enterprise sales motions don't apply
- Segment and prioritize the NeoCloud landscape based on growth trajectory, funding, silicon roadmap, and strategic fit with Marvell's portfolio
- Build the internal business case and roadmap needed to establish and scale a dedicated neoscale business over time
Partner Ecosystem & Indirect Channel Development
- Build and manage go-to-market partnerships with Marvell's optical and AEC (Active Electrical Cable) module partners to create an indirect sales channel into NeoCloud accounts
- Develop joint value propositions, co-selling motions, and partner enablement programs that position Marvell silicon as the preferred solution in partner designs
- Represent Marvell in partner-led opportunities and ensure alignment between direct and indirect go-to-market motions
- Identify and cultivate new ecosystem alliances that extend Marvell's reach into the neoscale market
Executive & Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and cultivate executive-level relationships within key NeoCloud customers, including founders, CTOs, and infrastructure leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to NeoCloud executives, helping shape their silicon and systems strategy in ways that create durable, long-term pull for Marvell
- Represent Marvell at industry events, forums, and executive engagements to build brand credibility in the neoscale space
- Translate customer roadmaps, priorities, and competitive dynamics into actionable input for Marvell's BU and product teams
Business Scaling & Cross-Functional Execution
- Stand up the pipeline, processes, and reporting needed to track and scale a nascent business line from first engagement to design win
- Recruit, build, and mentor an account and business development team as the neoscale business grows
- Partner with BU Product Line Management, FAE, and marketing teams to align roadmap priorities and technical engagement with NeoCloud and partner needs
- Partner with Sales Operations on forecasting, pipeline management, and design win reporting for the neoscale segment
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive sales, business development, or partnerships experience in the semiconductor, silicon IP, optical/connectivity, or cloud infrastructure industry
- Demonstrated success building a go-to-market motion or business line from the ground up, including creative market-entry and outreach strategies
- Experience developing and managing indirect/partner-led sales channels, ideally with optical module, cable, or systems partners
- Strong executive presence with a proven ability to build relationships with C-level and founder-level stakeholders at fast-moving or early-stage companies
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred:
- Experience at a Sr. Director or comparable level driving business development or go-to-market strategy at a semiconductor, optical, or infrastructure company
- Existing relationships with executives at NeoCloud / GPU cloud infrastructure providers
- Familiarity with optical modules, AEC (Active Electrical Cable), or AI fabric/networking ecosystems
- Experience operating in ambiguous, fast-scaling environments where the playbook must be built rather than followed
