Supervises ongoing critical environment maintenance and repair for all service lines with major impact on achieving pre-defined service level agreements (SLAs). Oversees medium-level impact projects and coordinates with relevant stakeholders. Manages incidents that impact Data Center infrastructure services and drives proactive and timely resolution of such incidents. Ensures alignment of own work with safe working practices. Oversees on-site data centers operations in relation to the engineering infrastructure, identifying risks and gaps and troubleshooting as required. Follows and adapts policies and procedures. Participates in training programs for newer members of the team.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $35.58 to $71.30 per hour; from: $74,000 to $148,300 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Critical Environment Maintenance Support:
-Completes ongoing Data Center critical infrastructure maintenance and repair for all service lines with major impact on achieving pre-defined service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure service uptime is maintained to the highest standards and that faults are dealt with promptly.
-Employs advanced operating knowledge of engineering systems to address complex issues, engaging in standard diagnostics and repairs, escalating blockers or obstacles only when necessary.
-Applies enhanced knowledge of Oracle processes, procedures, and industry standards to resolve challenging issues.
-Identifies and shares opportunities for system-level enhancements and proposes moderate changes to improve team effectiveness.
-Networks outside of the team while participating in evaluating the suitability of components, processes, or action plans.
-Oversees medium level impact projects and coordinates with relevant stakeholders.
Incident Management and Operation Improvement:
-Manages incidents that impact the critical infrastructure and drives proactive and timely resolution of such incidents.
-Communicates status of incident to all relevant stakeholders, escalating when needed.
-Collaborates with design, construction, commissioning, facility engineering, and data center operations teams to integrate the new engineering design systems into existing data centers.
-Directs operational optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives by influencing decisions through networking and strategic insight.
-Ensures alignment of own work with safe working practices and proposes moderate changes to enhance safety standards.
-Leads cross-functional post-incident reviews for data center by conducting root cause analyses, synthesizing lessons learned, and driving execution of Corrective and Preventive Action Plans (CAPAs) to mitigate recurrence and strengthen system resilience at scale.
-Prepares and follows established emergency operations plans when responding to emergency incidents or abnormal events, exercising discretion in escalating issues.
Site Commissioning and Build:
-Prepares technical reports that document findings, support recommendations, and communicate results to stakeholders, influencing decisions and direct management.
-Reviews and ensures infrastructure maintenance schedule is established and followed.
-Maintains service documentation and reports and ensures logging of all maintenance activities.
-Leads team participation in commissioning activities to ensure alignment with engineering standards and project requirements.
Data Center Operations Management:
-Oversees on-site data centers operations in relation to the engineering infrastructure, identifying risks and gaps and troubleshooting as required.
-Leads communications efforts to ensure that operational requirements and specifications are effectively flagged, raised, and addressed by the appropriate team.
-Engages proactively with developed standards and policy by reviewing documentation, leading participation in commissioning activities, design summits, and data center commissioning or reviews.
-Documents and evaluates critical impacting changes and presents findings at change advisory board (CAB) meetings.
Engineering Design, Leadership, and Governance:
-Collaborates with senior team members and leads projects and initiates design and engineering efforts.
-Supports project team members in delivering specific aspects of data centers for Oracle by performing highly complex tasks.
-Supports the development of policy documents by collaborating with team members and proposing moderate changes for policy enhancement.
-Leads in the creation and upkeep of best-in-class policies and procedures.
-Prepares comprehensive technical reports to document findings, communicate progress, and support project or design decision-making.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
-Participates in training programs for newer members of the team.
-Provides tabletop exercises and scenario-based trainings to newer members of the team.

Additional Responsibilities (as needed)
Colocation Vendor Management:
-Provides critical input for effective contract administration, including coordinating the generation and review of contracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents with significant impact on team outcomes.
-Coordinates resources to ensure that adequate resources are available, such as spare parts, generator fuel, water, and consumables.
-Manages vendor and contractor scheduling, coordinating site access and contributing to the completion and execution of work per Oracle expectations and safe-working practices.
