What do you contribute?
In an international rail electrification project environment, you will help shape complex infrastructure projects and, through your commercial leadership, create the foundation for their sustainable financial success.
- As a Commercial Project Manager (f/m/d), you assume full responsibility for all commercial decisions within complex multinational large-scale projects.
- In your central role as World Project Controller, you coordinate and drive cross-country claim strategies in challenging contractual environments and ensure their successful implementation.
- You ensure the accuracy of reporting, cost forecasting, and project controlling activities, while conducting comprehensive variance analyses.
- You are responsible for asset, opportunity, and risk management to safeguard and optimize project performance.
- Through effective stakeholder and interface management with customers, internal and external partners, and regional companies, you coordinate a broad range of international stakeholders and make a significant contribution to achieving project objectives.
- Furthermore, you ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of revenue, profit, and asset planning as well as reporting to the Overall Project Manager and senior management.
What do you bring along?
- You hold a degree (Master's/Diploma) in Business Administration or a comparable commercial qualification supplemented by further training as a Business Economist (f/m/d).
- In addition, you have gained many years of professional experience in commercial project management.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of contract law and have extensive experience in claim and contract management, including conducting negotiations.
- You are proficient in project management methodologies for international projects in accordance with PM@Siemens and hold a Senior CPM certification.
- You have extensive experience with international payment transactions, taxation, guarantees, insurance and customs topics, as well as foreign currency and commodity management.
- You also bring knowledge of NCM models, consortium agreements, and international contract law.
- Ideally, you have already gained leadership experience within project or line organizations.
- You are willing to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20%).
- You have business-fluent English skills and ideally Spanish language skills, further strengthened through intercultural work experience abroad.
