Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented
As a Senior Sales Engineer for Channel Partners, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth of Siemens Electrification products through our partner network. You will work closely with channel partners, end customers, product management, and internal stakeholders to maximize market penetration and achieve ambitious sales objectives.
Join our Electrification & Automation Business Unit as a Senior Sales Engineer, Channel Partners and play a key role in driving market growth, strengthening partner ecosystems, and delivering innovative solutions that support Egypt’s energy transition and digitalization journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and market share expansion for the Electrification portfolio, including:
- Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers
- Protection Relays
- Distribution Automation Solutions
- Digital Power Distribution Technologies
- Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue objectives, and key performance indicators through channel partners and distribution networks.
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies to increase market coverage and customer penetration across key market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with first-tier and second-tier channel partners, distributors, panel builders, system integrators, and key stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through existing and potential channel partners.
- Conduct market analysis to assess market size, growth opportunities, customer needs, pricing trends, and competitive positioning.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer requirements.
- Support the successful introduction and commercialization of new products and solutions across the partner ecosystem.
- Provide technical and commercial support to channel partners during project specification, bidding, and proposal development phases.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on partner engagement programs, product promotions, technical workshops, and demand-generation activities.
- Support order management, logistics, and back-office teams to ensure smooth execution from quotation to order fulfillment.
- Deliver product training and enablement sessions to improve partner competency and sales effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and opportunity tracking within CRM systems.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners by providing technical expertise, business insights, and value-based selling support.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in channel sales, business development, or technical sales within the electrical power distribution industry.
- Proven experience in Medium Voltage products, Protection Relays, and Distribution Automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of power distribution systems, utility applications, industrial customers, and infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing and developing multi-layer channel partner networks.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth through indirect sales channels.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases and market growth plans.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
