About the Role

We're looking for a Senior C# Developer to join our team, which focuses on two main areas:

*Veeam Explorers - granular recovery for SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Exchange and SharePoint - where we expose browse and restore through REST and gRPC so they can be driven from the Web UI, PowerShell and automation.
* Active Directory Forest Recovery as part of Identity Resilience, which rebuilds an entire AD forest onto clean machines after a domain-wide outage or ransomware attack.

Both are the same kind of system: a server orchestrating a remote agent over a versioned contract, running operations that take hours and must survive failure at any step.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement recovery flows end-to-end — REST and gRPC contracts, server-side orchestration, and the agent that executes on the target machine
  • Build PowerShell cmdlets as a first-class product surface, with parameter validation and a coherent object model
  • Design pre-flight validation that catches a bad restore before it starts, across REST, server and agent layers
  • Work close to what you're recovering: SQL Server, Oracle and PostgreSQL internals, or Active Directory — domain controller promotion, SYSVOL and NTDS, DNS, Kerberos, replication
  • Manage long-running distributed sessions: agent deployment, keep-alive, cleanup on failure and timeout, cancellation
  • Own your integration test suite and keep it green
  • Refactor a long-lived codebase as you go — this is a mature product, and improving what's there is part of the job

Technologies We Work With: C#, .NET, REST, gRPC / Protobuf, PowerShell, multithreading and async, Windows Server and Active Directory, Linux, MS SQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle, VMware and Hyper-V, Git, TFS, Visual Studio, Rider

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of commercial C# product development, with a deep understanding of .NET, data structures and algorithms
  • Experience designing service APIs — REST, gRPC or similar — where consumers are external and backward compatibility matters
  • Strong async and multithreading: cancellation, session lifecycle, hours-long operations
  • Depth in at least one of: Windows Server and Active Directory administration or internals; or database recovery mechanics for SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Comfort in a large existing codebase: reading unfamiliar code, refactoring safely
  • English for daily work in an international team

What You'll Get

  • 26 paid days off annually, plus 4 extra global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares
  • Paid parental, maternity, and paternity leave
  • Fully covered family medical plan, dental, rehab, and vaccinations
  • Life, critical illness, and disability insurance
  • Employer pension contribution via PPK
  • Monthly Edenred allowance of 450 PLN for meals
  • MultiSport card fully covered by Veeam, giving access to sports facilities nationwide
  • Up to 12 free therapy sessions annually, plus legal and financial advice
  • Opportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly), mentoring, workshops and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning

Please note: If the applicant is permanently present outside of Poland, Veeam reserves the right to refuse to consider the application for a job. A remote job is only possible in case the employee is located in Poland.
