Analog Devices is seeking a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Planning to support data-driven decision-making across our global supply chain organization. This role will analyze manufacturing, inventory, demand, backlog, capacity, material availability, and operational data to identify risks, explain performance drivers, and recommend actions that support revenue forecasting, production planning, customer fulfillment, and capacity decisions.

Working within the Backend Operations team, the Senior Analyst will partner with planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, quality, engineering, finance, commercial teams, business units, and Corporate IS. The role will translate business needs into analytical and technical deliverables, develop dashboards and decision-support tools, execute improvement projects, and help coordinate actions in response to changing demand, material constraints, supply disruptions, and manufacturing transitions.

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Supply and demand analysis: Analyze supply-demand imbalances, backlog, inventory health, capacity utilization, factory output, material shortages, shipment performance, and customer commitments to identify risks, root causes, and recommend actions.

·       Operational decision support: Provide timely analysis for production-planning decisions, supply-recovery efforts, material expedites, revenue reviews, customer escalations, allocation discussions, and other time-sensitive operational priorities.

·       Continuous Improvement: Execute strategic projects to resolve complex supply chain problems impacting operations, supply and demand planning, inventory optimization, new product readiness, and advanced planning systems.

·       Process improvement and automation: Identify process gaps and recommend improvements, with an emphasis on automation, standardization, data quality, scalable analytics, and continuous process improvement.

·       Risk monitoring: Develop and maintain alerts and monitoring mechanisms for emerging shortages, capacity constraints, qualification delays, yield variability, inventory exposure, and potential customer-delivery issues.

·       Analytics products: Design, develop, test, and maintain dashboards, reports, data models, forecasting models, performance metrics, and planning tools that support executive reviews, S&OP or Integrated Business Planning processes, production planning, and capacity decisions.

·       AI and digital enablement: Apply and help scale AI, advanced analytics, planning automation, and digital tools that improve forecasting, anomaly detection, planning accuracy, decision speed, and operational responsiveness.

·       Requirements and solution design: Participate in requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders, determine root causes, translate business requirements into technical and project deliverables, and contribute to end-to-end solution design.

Required Qualifications & Skills

·       Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline.

·       Industry Experience: 2+ years of dedicated supply chain experience, preferably operating directly within a semiconductor or high-tech hardware manufacturing environment.

·       Proficiency with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, or comparable query and data-manipulation languages, for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analytical model development.

·       Deep knowledge of data visualization software (such as Tableau and/or Power BI) and strong spreadsheet modeling capabilities to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

·       Experience with advanced supply chain planning and modeling using JDA or Blue Yonder modules such as SCP, ESP, or OP, or comparable planning platforms such as SAP or Kinaxis.

·       Proven experience identifying and resolving geographically distributed supply chain challenges and risks while collaborating effectively with global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.

·       Demonstrated ability to apply AI and advanced analytics to enhance analytical capabilities, automate complex analyses, and develop practical solutions to supply chain planning challenges.

Why this role?
