Senior Analyst, Social & Influencer Intelligence
Location: NYC, Chicago, LA Type: Full-Time Reports To: Director, Influencer Strategy
CreatorIQ's Strategic Services organization delivers scoped, professional-services engagements that help the world's leading brands and agencies run smarter creator and influencer programs. Within Strategic Services, our Influencer Marketing Services team plans and executes creator programs end to end, from creator discovery and activation through campaign delivery and performance readouts.
CreatorIQ is looking for a Senior Analyst, Social & Influencer Intelligence to bring a dedicated insights layer to that work. This role sits at the intersection of social data, creator performance, and campaign strategy: you'll turn social, creator, and campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations that shape how our customers build and optimize their programs. You'll be customer-facing, presenting findings directly to brand and agency stakeholders, and you'll own the analysis behind them, partnering with our Reporting team when an engagement calls for deeper data engineering or custom builds.
Our Directors of Services own scoping and commercial conversations, which frees this role to focus on execution and insight quality: understanding what a customer is trying to learn, getting to the right answer, and telling the story in a way that drives decisions.
The ideal candidate is fluent in both the data and the creator economy. You've spent several years analyzing social, influencer, or marketing performance data, you're comfortable working hands-on in large datasets, and you know what a strong creator program looks like well enough to recognize what the numbers are telling you. This role also helps define how social and influencer intelligence shows up across Strategic Services, including the methodologies, standards, and repeatable deliverables that allow the work to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Social & Influencer Insights: Lead analysis across creator performance, audience and consumer behavior, social conversation, and market trends, translating findings into clear recommendations for program strategy and optimization.
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Own pre-campaign, in-flight, and post-campaign analysis for Influencer Marketing Services engagements, identifying what's driving results, where programs are underperforming, and what to adjust.
- Customer-Facing Delivery: Present insights directly to brand and agency stakeholders, from practitioner-level working sessions to executive readouts, and serve as the analytical point of contact on the engagements you support.
- Data & Analysis Ownership: Work hands-on with structured and large datasets from the CreatorIQ platform and third-party sources to extract insights, producing your own analysis end to end on most engagements.
- Dashboards, Reports & Presentations: Build the dashboards, reports, and presentations that make up client deliverables, with a high bar for accuracy, clarity, and visual storytelling.
- Sentiment & Social Listening: Support sentiment, theme, and competitive conversation analysis on creator content and comments, helping customers understand how audiences are responding to their brands and products.
- Reporting Partnership: Partner with the Reporting team on engagements that require custom data builds, advanced SQL or ETL work, or recurring reporting infrastructure, with clear handoffs on who owns each piece.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Directors of Services, Campaign Operations, Creator Operations, Strategic Intelligence, and Customer Success so insights are built into how programs are planned and delivered.
- Methodology & Standards: Help define repeatable approaches, templates, and quality standards for social and influencer intelligence deliverables, so the work scales across customers and future team members.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge sharing, and help raise the analytical fluency of the broader Strategic Services team.
- Category Expertise: Stay current on creator and social platform trends, measurement best practices, and the competitive landscape, bringing a point of view to every customer conversation.
Who you are and what you'll need for this position:
- 4+ years of experience in social, influencer, or marketing analytics, insights, or consulting, at a brand, agency, social listening or analytics provider, or marketing technology company.
- Domain Expertise: Strong working knowledge of creator/influencer marketing and social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and others), including how programs are planned, measured, and optimized.
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Excel or Google Sheets, with experience working independently in large datasets.
- Experience building dashboards and reports in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Proven ability to own an analysis end to end, from framing the question through delivering a recommendation.
- Experience presenting insights directly to clients or senior stakeholders, with the confidence to field questions and defend your point of view.
- Strong data storytelling skills, written and verbal, with the ability to make complex findings clear and actionable for non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a high bar for accuracy.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple customer engagements at once.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with the CreatorIQ platform or comparable creator/influencer marketing technology.
- Experience with social listening or sentiment analysis tools and methodologies.
- Background in customer success, account management, or another customer-facing role at a SaaS company or agency.
- Experience creating analytical templates, frameworks, or quality standards for a team.
- Experience supporting enterprise brands across categories such as beauty, CPG, retail, or consumer tech.
