As a Senior Account Executive at Microsoft, you will lead some of Sweden's most strategic public sector organizations through their digital transformation journeys. You will build trusted relationships with senior executives, develop long-term account strategies, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful business and societal outcomes. 

In this role, you will partner with government leaders to address complex challenges around AI, cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, data platforms, and modernization. You will identify new growth opportunities, drive transformational initiatives, and position Microsoft as a trusted strategic partner helping customers achieve their most ambitious goals

Responsibilities
  • Build and grow executive relationships across strategic Government accounts.
  • Lead customer strategy, account planning, and business growth initiatives.
  • Identify, shape, and close transformational opportunities across AI, Security, Modern Work, and Azure.
  • Orchestrate virtual teams to deliver customer success and long-term business value.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers and influence strategic technology investments.
  • Drive pipeline, forecast accuracy, and operational excellence across the assigned portfolio.
  • Position Microsoft as the preferred partner for innovation, resilience, and digital transformation in the public sector.
Qualifications

We're looking for a strategic leader with a passion for public sector transformation and a track record of influencing decision-making at the highest levels.

Required/minimun qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration AND several years experience working in OR with public sector , driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND several years experience working in OR with public sector, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in government, management consulting, technology, or business transformation roles
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English languages
  • Understanding of AI, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, digital sovereignty, and critical infrastructure

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven ability to engage and advise senior executives and public sector leaders on strategic priorities
  • Demonstrated success in identifying new opportunities, driving growth, and leading complex stakeholder engagement
  • Proven communication, relationship-building, and executive presence
  • Ability to translate industry trends and policy developments into actionable business strategies
  • Experience driving thought leadership and representing organizations at industry events and executive forums

Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Sweden is kr 874,000.00 - kr 1,439,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
