Position Headline:
The Security Officer is a full-time employee of Siemens Corporate Security (CE SEC) and serves as an integral member of the Country Security Office, contributing to the protection of Siemens personnel, assets, information, reputation, and business operations.
You’ll create impact by:
- Supporting the Country Security Head, Regional Company CEO, and management teams, the Security Officer is responsible for facilitating the implementation, monitoring, and compliance of all Corporate Security requirements as defined by CE SEC mandates, policies, circulars, standards, and instructions.
- The position provides operational support, tactical guidance, and subject matter expertise to Regional Company leadership, business management, and key stakeholders on all security-related matters. The role requires close collaboration with CE SEC functional departments, Regional Security Officers, Division Security Officers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and effective security posture across the organization.
- Key responsibilities include supporting security risk management activities, project security reviews, travel security programs, incident management, crisis preparedness and response, security investigations, threat assessments, and security awareness initiatives. The Security Officer also supports the delivery of proportionate, cost-effective, and business-aligned security measures that enable business continuity and support the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Furthermore, the role assists in providing situational awareness, security intelligence, incident analysis, and operational updates to management and relevant stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making during routine operations, incidents, and crisis situations.
Your defining qualities:
- Have minimum 6-7 years in relevant roles
- Native proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and strong professional English communication skills.
- Valid Indonesian Police certification for Security Professionals (or equivalent recognized security certification).
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate security, risk management, incident and crisis management, travel security, and physical security practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse business functions and management levels.
