Responsibilities
- You provide customer service at all levels, to guests and contractors (m/f/d)
- You ensure the maintenance of our high standards of professionalism and adherence to dress code and hygiene standards
- You are responsible for access control at the assigned location
- You execute company procedures to ensure the physical protection of personnel and property, while complying with required regulations and guidelines to create a calm and professional security culture
- You communicate clearly and effectively with all employees (m/f/d), guests, and contractors (m/f/d)
- You provide support for operating security systems: video surveillance, alarm response, access control, and incident reporting
- You are responsible for managing the recording system for security-related activities: incidents and events
- You participate in emergency measures, such as medical emergencies, fires, or other incidents on site
- You exercise extreme vigilance and notify all employees (m/f/d) and others
- You inform about potential threats or situations that require immediate attention
- You perform additional tasks assigned to you.
Requirements
- Authorization to obtain and possess a security service ID or other licensure requirements (§34a expertise test - desirable) or military/law enforcement background
- Current police certificate without entry
- Valid German driver's license
- Preferably excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Experience in a security or guard service
- Role Level Expectations: Completes routine, basic tasks by following standard operating procedures, but can recognize and implement the need for an occasional deviation if deemed necessary. Follows the defined standard operating procedures at Tesla. Prior experience and skills plus official certification and licenses. Requires instructions for new tasks and responsibilities only.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in German, both written and spoken. English language skills are also highly desirable
- Basic knowledge of first aid is an advantage
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
- Physical strength and fitness, ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work occasional mandatory overtime
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Proven experience in customer service
- Adherence to communication procedures, guidelines, and instructions
- Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to concentrate and remain attentive to the surroundings
- Provision of accurate, valid, and complete information using the correct methods/tools
- Ability to report security incidents or concerns accurately and in a timely manner
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
- Proficient use of computers, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to perform basic tasks on a computer or mobile device
- Flexibility, you are deployable in Grünheide and other locations in Berlin & Brandenburg
