The Seasonal Trainer is responsible for the execution of Behind the Smile, a new Tier 1 new hire onboarding program within NACF, with a focus on providing a welcoming, exciting, and engaging new hire experience. The Seasonal Trainer plays a key role in driving the success of the onboarding program by supporting new hires in acclimating to their roles and feeling connected to Amazon culture. The Seasonal Trainer also works with operations managers, area managers, production assistants and associates to constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which he/she is assigned.
To succeed, the Seasonal Trainer will need to communicate effectively, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. In addition, and ideal candidate for this role will possess:

As a Seasonal Trainer, you'll be at the heart of our onboarding initiative, supporting new hires as they begin their journey with us. Your day might include facilitating group orientation sessions where you introduce new employees to our operations, values, and their specific roles. You'll work one-on-one with individuals who need additional support, using creative approaches like visual aids and hands-on demonstrations to ensure understanding. You'll collaborate with operations managers and area managers to gather feedback on how new hires are progressing and identify ways to strengthen our onboarding process. Throughout your shift, you'll remain responsive to emerging needs—whether that's troubleshooting a confused new hire, connecting someone with resources, or celebrating their first wins. You'll also analyze feedback and metrics to spot opportunities for improving the onboarding experience for future cohorts.

- Using a hands-on approach, engage and excite newly hired employees in a welcoming and supportive environment
- Drive operational mechanisms to ensure an exceptional, reliable onboarding experience
- Facilitate a smooth transition from onboarding to in-path training while remaining engaged and acting as a resource for new hires
- Analyze and interpret metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement
- React quickly to serve as a resource for specific barriers and determining the correct steps to resolve.
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across disparate groups with competing priorities.
- Support a 24/7 environment that has multiple shifts and seasonal staffing ramps to meet customer demand. *Amazon Operations and Distribution is a 24/7 environment and shifts may change due to business needs. Full shift flexibility including holidays, nights and weekends is needed for this role.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing training and mentorship
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences
- Experience communicating technical concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visuals
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly in languages relevant to the target audience

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
