SDE II, BOS27 Innovation Lab
In the Innovation Lab, we experiment with new technology and incubate new solutions that help position Amazon for success 3-5 years from now. We build early-stage concept solutions with real applications in mind. We show and not just tell our results to leadership and customer stakeholders who may not even know that we are innovating on their behalf. We are a small team with a hands-on and can-do attitude. We work with cool new tech while leveraging existing core capabilities wherever possible. In addition to the core full-time staff, the Lab hosts 20+ interns and co-ops throughout the year who directly work with and are mentored by the team.
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer who can build real systems of systems from existing tech and emerging research concepts. You will be accountable for designing and implementing novel solutions, for demoing our work to leadership and other visitors, and for guiding and mentoring junior Lab staff and interns/co-ops.
If you enjoy working hands-on on novel concept systems on a lean team with high visibility, come join us!
