You will join an international team with colleagues based in Portugal and Germany, working on a range of SAP MDG, Finance, system integration and transformation initiatives.

The role will be based in Portugal and will work closely with both local and international stakeholders.

Your role:

We are looking for an SAP MDG / IT Finance Specialist to join our international team and support ongoing and upcoming transformation and integration projects.

This role is particularly suited to someone who combines a good understanding of business and finance processes with a strong interest and experience in IT. Ideally, you have already worked with SAP MDG and are comfortable operating at the intersection between business requirements, master data and technology.

You do not need to be an expert in every area from day one. We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive and motivated to learn, take ownership and drive topics forward.

Your responsibilities:

· Support and contribute to SAP MDG and Master Data Management initiatives.

· Participate in the integration of existing and new systems into the SAP MDG landscape.

· Support system consolidation, migration and decommissioning activities.

· Contribute to the implementation and integration of Finance-related systems and services.

· Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

· Support integration activities involving systems and processes across different countries and business areas.

· Contribute to current projects while also helping the team prepare and launch new initiatives.

· Collaborate with an international team across Portugal and Germany.

· Take ownership of assigned topics and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Your qualifications and experience:

·Approximately 5+ years of professional experience, although we are open to different levels of seniority depending on your background.

·Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).

·A background in IT, Finance, Business Processes or a related area.

·Understanding of Master Data Management and governance concepts.

·Experience working with Finance-related data and processes.

·Exposure to areas such as Sales, Logistics, Materials or Customs would be an advantage.

·Experience working in complex or international organizational environments.

·Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

·Fluency in English for working within an international team.

A particularly interesting background would be someone who started their career closer to Finance or Business and has since transitioned into IT, SAP or Master Data Management.
