Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Sales Support Analyst supports Sales teams and Partners by managing the end-to-end quoting and opportunity lifecycle. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining sales opportunities in SFDC and generating accurate quotes using SAP and Oracle CPQ, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant deal execution.
Develops, implements and utilizes processes and tools to enable the sales life-cycle (pricing, orders, invoicing, opportunity assessment, field inventory management and other sales pipeline analytics and forecasting solutions). Reports and analyzes order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment. Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses.
Applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within a business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales teams and Partners for quote creation, modification, and opportunity management.
- Create, update, and maintain sales opportunities in SFDC (Salesforce).
- Generate, validate, and maintain accurate quotes using SAP, Oracle CPQ, and NGQ while ensuring compliance with pricing, discount, and approval policies.
- Support Sales and Account Managers with pricing requests, deal structuring, and opportunity-related queries.
- Manage complex and high-value deals, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are completed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Logistics, Order Management, POS, Finance, and Global Support to resolve quoting and ordering issues.
- Monitor and manage quote and opportunity escalations, engaging Team Leads or Managers when required.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across SFDC, SAP, Oracle CPQ, and NGQ.
- Maintain strong knowledge of sales processes, tools, products, and company policies to effectively support Sales teams and Partners.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver timely support while consistently meeting defined service level agreements (SLAs).
What You Need To Bring:
Education and Experience Required:
- High school or equivalent secondary education certification required
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Typically, 2 - 4 years' experience
Required Skills:
- Experience in Sales Support, Quoting, Commercial Operations, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Oracle CPQ.
- Working knowledge of SFDC (Salesforce) for opportunity management.
- Strong understanding of pricing, discounting, and approval processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, tools, and business processes.
