Description

We are hiring a Sales Strategy Analyst to support the Tesla Megapack sales team by building practical tools, improving and codifying processes, and creating scalable resources that make the organization more efficient. This role focuses on turning ad-hoc work into repeatable, well-documented processes and tools that improve deal velocity and reduce friction for the sales team.

You will own process improvement initiatives (including post-contract workflows and deal data management), create enablement assets, and support the Contracts Manager and Sales Specialist. The goal is to build longer-term team capabilities through better processes, AI-powered tools, and documented best practices.

This is a high-autonomy individual-contributor role with coaching and oversight from the Sales Strategy Leader. It is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, build, and have a direct impact on how the sales team operates.

This internal-facing position requires a deep understanding of sales dynamics and the battery industry, supporting Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy through innovative solutions and exponential business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and create new processes. Own and maintain post-contract processes, including deal data capture, tracking, and handoff procedures to ensure consistency and visibility across the team
  • Document winning processes and best practices so knowledge is reusable. Help evolve the Sales Playbook and related resources into living, easy-to-use tools
  • Learn and apply AI tools to automate workflows, generate content, or improve processes. Prototype and roll out solutions that increase team productivity
  • Partner closely with the Contracts Manager and Sales Specialist to create supporting materials, streamline handoffs, and fill gaps in their workstreams
  • Support leadership reporting needs and maintain visibility into key priorities and workstreams
  • Provide research, analysis, and tool creation on programmatic topics under guidance

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, technical writing, sales operations, or strategy roles, ideally with exposure to energy, renewables, utility-scale solar, or battery storage
  • Strong process thinking and improvement mindset with the ability to turn complex or ad-hoc work into clear, repeatable processes and tools
  • High interest in learning and applying AI tools to improve workflows and create scalable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clean, professional deliverables that others can easily use
  • Comfortable working independently with high autonomy while seeking guidance when needed
  • Familiarity with utility-scale project development, contracting, or commercial processes is a plus
