Sales Operations Lead, AutoMfg Sales Strategy & Operations
Are you passionate about solving complex business problems, diving into data, and providing actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across a high-growth organization? The AWS Industries (AWSI) Automotive & Manufacturing Field Sales Operations team is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Operations Leader to serve as a trusted strategic advisor to our senior industry leadership.
This leader will partner directly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop standard metrics to measure productivity and success of programs, automate and optimize operational processes, and invent new ways of diving deep with data to uncover actionable insights that help us serve our internal and external customers. They will be responsible for looking around corners and measuring the performance of the organization, supplying their sales leadership with relevant and timely insights on the health of their business, and will effectively manage the operating cadence for the team. They will support shaping business strategy, OP1/OP2 planning initiatives, and long-range growth planning in close partnership with Finance and IBU leadership.
The successful candidate operates with a bias for action, thrives in ambiguity, builds strong partnerships with senior leaders, and brings both tactical precision and strategic thinking to everything they do. You are comfortable owning end-to-end delivery of complex operational and financial mechanisms, influencing senior leaders, and driving process improvements that scale across the organization. Candidates with a finance background who bring strong operational acumen are encouraged to apply.
This is a high-visibility role where you will become a trusted advisor to senior industry leadership and make a meaningful impact on the strategic and operational performance of a $3B+ industry business.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the primary strategic operations partner to senior sales leaders, owning the business health narrative, financial performance tracking, and operational cadence for the IBU. Shape and support OP1/OP2 strategic planning, revenue bridge development, and long-range growth initiatives in close partnership with Finance and IBU leadership. Drive forecast accuracy and financial rigor across the organization. Own pipeline management and top deals governance, proactively flagging risks and driving remediation before issues escalate. Deliver weekly business health insights and financial recommendations to senior leadership that are actionable, account-specific, and leadership-ready on first pass. Lead and execute Annual Planning, In-Year Planning, Account Planning, and quota cascading processes, ensuring the voice of the field is represented in planning cycles. Build and maintain standardized business review mechanisms (WBR, MBR, QBR) that drive accountability and surface opportunities for growth. Proactively identify process inefficiencies and build scalable mechanisms, automations, and AI-enabled tools that reduce manual work and free field capacity for customer engagement. Manage financial planning inputs including revenue forecasting models, growth target analysis, and financial guidance in partnership with Finance. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure consistent execution of operational and financial commitments.
