Sales Operations Analyst, AWSI Strategy & Operations

Do you want to shape how AWS Industries plans for growth? We are looking for a Sales Operations professional to join our team, responsible for supporting the AWSI organization through regular operational cadences, reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will take ownership of the rhythm of the business cadence, surface insights for leadership, and establish repeatable, sustainable mechanisms.

Key job responsibilities
  • Establish timelines, project plans, and expectations across various stakeholders
  • Streamline reporting and performance updates through regular cadence of communications and interlocks with sales teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Deep dive and analyze key business performance metrics, identify gaps, create mitigation plans, and drive to closure.
  • Develop appropriate automation, tools and standard templates for operational cadences that allow operations at scale.
  • Highly organized and detail focused, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements and enhancements that meet business requirements.
  • Maintain single source of truth for key mechanisms, dashboards, and other tools.
A day in the life
The ideal candidate has demonstrated organizational skills, strong financial acumen, and a deep analytical background. Strong judgement, ability to manage through ambiguity and complexity as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority are key to success. You are a storyteller, who has experience translating data and analysis into business insights, so leaders can take action and execute against key KPIs.

The right candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, and is comfortable interfacing with all levels and functional teams across a large, complex organization. You specialize in finding solutions for the sales teams, inventing and simplifying mechanisms reduce administrative frictions to allow them more time with customers.

Within the AWS Industries organization, the Sales Operations team is responsible for supporting leadership and sales teams in achieving organizational objectives and driving continuous improvements in field productivity. We own and deliver operational cadences, build new mechanisms to support organizational growth and scale, and drive organizational initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
  • Experience developing business analytics or equivalent
  • Experience establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across organizations
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to analyze data, build visualizations, and automate routine tasks at scale, turning manual processes into repeatable, efficient workflows.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
