About the role and team

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and inspiring sales leader to join Uber for Business as the Sales Manager for Enterprise and Mid-Market, based in Bogotá, Colombia. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on driving growth in one of our most dynamic and fast-scaling markets.

The ideal candidate is a builder — someone with grit, resilience, and the ability to overcome obstacles, create structure in ambiguous environments, and turn business challenges into scalable solutions, while continuously coaching and developing a team of Account Executives to deliver exceptional results.

You’ll play a key role in defining our commercial strategy for the segments, optimizing operations and building the commercial foundations required for sustainable growth. You will work across functions to identify opportunities and roadblocks, quantify their business impact, prioritize solutions, and mobilize stakeholders to execute them.

What you’ll do

  • Recruit, lead, and scale a high-performing team of Account Executives, providing expert-level coaching on solution selling, negotiation, and executive engagement to exceed collective revenue targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture, setting clear goals, maintaining accountability, and celebrating achievements across the team.
  • Coach AEs through their top deals, providing hands-on guidance and strategic insight to accelerate closing and ensure value creation.
  • Build and continuously improve the commercial foundations for Enterprise and Mid-Market Colombia, including operating rhythms, processes, playbooks, and mechanisms that enable the team to scale.
  • Drive the end-to-end commercial strategy for both new business acquisition and existing account expansion, focusing on increasing share of wallet through strategic upsell and cross-sell motions.
  • Identify systemic business opportunities and roadblocks, quantify their financial and customer impact, prioritize the highest-value initiatives and lead cross-functional projects to address them.
  • Command high-value deals by personally sponsoring and driving the most complex commercial opportunities, including sophisticated B2B2C solutions and strategic business development partnerships.
  • Instill sales rigor and predictability by implementing a systematic, data-driven methodology for pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and revenue predictability via Salesforce.
  • Directly engage with C-suite executives to align Uber’s long-term value proposition with their strategic business objectives, unlocking new growth opportunities and high-impact partnerships.
  • Navigate internal complexity by acting as the critical bridge between Sales, Operations, Product, and Legal to drive operational efficiencies and secure support for complex, matrixed deals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, bringing insights and recommendations to elevate performance and accelerate business impact in Colombia and the broader LATAM region.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience with a track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership, specifically hiring and coaching high-performing teams selling into large enterprise organizations.
  • Proven performance management skills, with experience in weekly forecast and performance reviews, taking fast corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical and coaching skills, leveraging data-driven insights to guide sales performance and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
  • Deep commercial acumen with experience managing complex, multi-stage sales cycles and high-value contract negotiations.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to use data and CRM insights to establish priorities and drive predictable sales growth.
  • Proven record of exceeding revenue targets and expanding customer bases in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and remove operational blockers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated builder mindset, with experience creating processes, operating mechanisms or commercial foundations in ambiguous or rapidly scaling environments.
  • Strong business judgment, with the ability to quantify opportunities and challenges, assess financial impact and use data to prioritize initiatives and influence decisions.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Bonus Points If

  • Experience in B2B2C or non-traditional business development deals, such as API integrations or channel partnerships.
  • Demonstrated resilience and a growth mindset with a track record of navigating high-growth, ambiguous environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the maturity to resolve conflicts in a matrixed organization.
  • High curiosity and a quick learning ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative technology landscape.
  • Passion for process innovation and a desire to shift between strategic thinking and hands-on implementation.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable sales playbooks and frameworks.
