What Is the Sales Development Program Summer Internship?
Based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, with potential assignments across the US, the summer Sales Development Program Summer Internship provides a valuable opportunity to actively contribute to Siemens’ sales and marketing initiatives.
As an Intern, you’ll engage in special projects and support the team by promoting Siemens’ products, solutions, and services to clients in the construction, industrial, and commercial sectors. You’ll also gain insight into the full-time Sales Development Program (SDP) through a condensed curriculum focused on Siemens’ product portfolio. This internship is designed to serve as a direct pathway into the full-time SDP, which launches in July every year.

Your responsibilities may include:
· Gaining a deep understanding of Siemens’ legacy, organizational structure, product offerings, systems, tools, and internal processes
· Exploring industry dynamics, including go-to-market strategies and channel partnerships
· Developing networking skills with peers and leadership while applying proven sales methodologies
· Learning key sales, skills, processes and tools
· Engaging in a collaborative, team-based environment alongside fellow trainees
This immersive, hands-on program—paired with the ambition and potential of emerging top talent—serves as a strong foundation for acceptance into the Sales Development Program (SDP) and a successful sales career with a global industry leader.
This program may be a great fit for you if you meet the following criteria:
- Education: Currently enrolled as a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Preferred Majors: Are pursuing a degree in Engineering (sales certificates or sales focus preferred), Construction Management, Business, Finance, Marketing, Communication, etc.
- Mobility: Willingness to relocate and travel as needed.
· Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.
Interpersonal & Extracurricular:
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to learn from different experiences
* Strong extracurriculars, community services, volunteer, or outreach program involvement
Benefits:
The hourly pay for this position is $28 per hour for a rising senior. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
