The Role and Impact
As a Sales Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical collaboration with a major datacenter customer to secure design wins and ensure successful product integration into production. Your day-to-day activities will include providing technical expertise, developing product demonstrations, and assisting in product design reviews to meet customer requirements. By leveraging your deep knowledge of Intel's product portfolio, you will help generate revenue while building long-term relationships with customers to foster satisfaction and success.

This role resides within Intel's Sales and Marketing (SMG) organization, which is dedicated to enabling customer success and driving revenue growth. SMG collaborates with OEMs, distributors, and ecosystem partners to influence product adoption and deliver innovative solutions that support Intel's mission of creating world-changing technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to close design win opportunities and assist customers in integrating Intel products into production.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations to showcase capabilities and address customer requirements.
- Lead on-site product design reviews and collaborate with customer teams to ensure Intel solutions meet their needs.
- Cultivate customer relationships and act as the primary technical contact for rapid issue resolution and high customer satisfaction.
- Analyze technical data, reproduce errors, and escalate or resolve customer issues effectively.
- Offer feedback to manufacturing and product teams regarding product requirements, issues, and anticipated changes to maintain business continuity.
- Influence OEMs, distributors, and partners to drive sales through revenue and enable customer success.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering or applications support, with a focus on datacenter, CPUs, boards, and/or systems.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, highlighting collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, including requirements management, risk mitigation, and project planning.
- Experience with managing engineering programs or contributing to product development cycles.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in engaging and influencing customers across various levels of their organization.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks within dynamic environments.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $183,330.00-302,060.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
