The Opportunity

We are seeking an advanced R&D engineer to join the development of advanced OPC modeling and simulation technologies for semiconductor manufacturing. In this role, you will join a talented engineering team, influence technical direction, and directly contribute to the delivery of scalable modeling platforms, advanced user interfaces, high-performance distributed computing capabilities, and database-backed product workflows. You will work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to translate complex modeling challenges into robust software solutions that improve user experience and help customers achieve best-in-class results.

Required Qualifications

Experience with modeling, simulation, or model-calibration workflows, with interest in building software tools that support advanced engineering users.

Working knowledge of software development in Python and/or C/C++, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code in a collaborative engineering environment.

Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and common development workflows.

Exposure to distributed computing, database-backed applications, large-scale data processing, or high-performance computing environments is a plus, but deep production experience is not required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ML infrastructure, model-training workflows, or scalable machine-learning platforms.

Experience with large-scale data processing, data pipelines, or high-performance data-management workflows.

Familiarity with TCL or other scripting/interface languages.

Experience with developing graphical user interfaces for engineering, scientific, or data-intensive software applications.

Experience with Python-based GUI frameworks such as PyQt/PySide, or web-based user-interface technologies; exposure to user-experience improvement, workflow simplification, data visualization, or interactive application design is highly valued.
