About the Role:
The Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting financial reporting, analysis, and business insights within the finance organization. This role ensures the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports, provides meaningful analysis to support business decision-making, and contributes to process improvement and reporting automation initiatives. The position partners with cross-functional stakeholders in a multinational environment while maintaining compliance with financial reporting standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform financial analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Support financial planning, forecasting, reporting activities, and ad hoc business analysis requests.
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reporting deliverables.
- Assist in reporting process improvements, automation initiatives, and the implementation of reporting and visualization tools.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and established financial reporting policies and procedures.
- Participate in business reviews and support management reporting requirements.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, or related finance functions.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP principles.
- Experience using General Ledger systems such as SAP, Oracle, E-Automate, or Sage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working in a multinational environment with responsibility for significant financial balances.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
- CPA, CMA, or other professional accounting and finance certifications.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Essbase/SmartView, BlackLine, or similar reporting tools.
- Exposure to Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or Finance Transformation environments.
- Experience supporting business reviews and executive reporting.
- Familiarity with reporting automation, AI tools, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid (Onsite for the first 6 months and hybrid thereafter)
- Work Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
- Work Location: Cebu City, Philippines
