The Role:
Our site in Danbury, CT is seeking a R&D Analytical Chemist Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

What You’ll Do:

• Train on multiple analytical instruments including ICP-MS, GC, FTIR
• Handle hazardous material including toxic, corrosive, air-sensitive gases and liquids
• Apply best practices in method development and validation on real world measurement challenges in the semi-conductor specialty materials and chemistry industry
• Gain first in class mentorship opportunities within a high performing industry environment
• Present technical information for a diverse audience in a global environment
• Communicate technical project outcomes in both written and verbal forms
• Develop fundamental understanding of analytical instrumentation and its application in the semi-conductor industry
• Challenged to implement out of the box automation and AI-driven solutions to existing technical challenges

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Analytical Chemistry
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2027 or later

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to handle, move, and lift up to 50 lbs (gas cylinders)
