The SAP Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions using Selenium and REST APIs for SAP end-to-end (E2E) test scenarios, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and REST APIs for SAP E2E testing.
- Modify and enhance existing automation scripts based on changes in UI, business processes, and application requirements.
- Work closely with the Enterprise Business Analyst team to understand requirements and prepare the required test data.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, automation practices, and overall software quality.
- Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
Qualification
- BE/ME/MCA from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 4+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years of experience as a Test Automation Developer/Engineer.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in SAP Test Automation, particularly SAP Fiori-based applications using REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing Selenium-based test automation suites.
- Experience in developing test automation strategies and frameworks using Selenium and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Test Automation concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and version control practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with global counterparts.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a broad spectrum of cloud-based technologies and solutions.
- Experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
- Strong understanding of relevant technical and industry best practices in software testing and quality engineering.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP Web GUI automation.
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
- Exposure to modern test automation and quality engineering practices.
