The Greater China team develops and manages world-class communication strategies to support Apple’s continued growth in this dynamic region. As the Public Relations Manager for Services in Greater China, you will drive the strategy, planning, and execution of public relations programs that showcase the benefits of our Services to consumers. You will serve as the regional lead, partnering with local curators and the editorial team to craft stories that resonate across music, entertainment, lifestyle, and technology media.

Description

In this role, you will lead the Greater China Newsroom and key social media accounts, guiding content from conception to publication. You will navigate a dynamic environment, combining editorial planning, content creation, and vendor management to deliver impactful media assets. By collaborating closely with global and local teams, you will ensure our communications maintain the highest standards of quality, security, and alignment with Apple's unique voice.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily operations and special projects for the Greater China Newsrooms (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) and specific social media channels.
  • Produce, write, and edit communications in both English and Chinese, managing localization vendors and media asset production.
  • Plan and execute editorial calendars, ensuring precise execution and alignment with global and local marketing teams.
  • Monitor the media landscape to identify emerging trends, creators, and publications, while proactively escalating potential public issues.
  • Integrate internal AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency and support the broader communications team on diverse initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in public relations, journalism, or corporate communications.
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese languages.
  • Experience managing public relations campaigns and content creation across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Arts, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background building relationships with media professionals, journalists, and content creators in Greater China.
  • Experience managing localization vendors and overseeing media asset production.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools for workflow and process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
