Description:
The Proposal Coordinator helps Siemens win new business by leading the proposal process from opportunity evaluation through final submission. This role plays a key part in supporting new business development and sales efforts by coordinating high-quality responses that demonstrate Siemens' ability to meet customer needs and project requirements.
The primary focus of this position is managing proposal efforts from the early stages of opportunity pursuit through submission. Acting as the project lead for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other proposal opportunities, the Proposal Coordinator brings together cross-functional stakeholders, establishes timelines, drives accountability, and helps ensure submissions are compliant, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
You will support proposal opportunities across public-sector organizations and private institutions served by Siemens. Success in this role requires strong project management, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex requirements. You’ll make an impact by
- Lead proposal projects from opportunity evaluation through final submission, helping deliver compliant, high-quality responses that support business growth.
- Drive proposal planning activities, establish timelines, manage milestones, and coordinate deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration among Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Sales Leadership, Marketing, Legal, Implementation, Product Management, and other contributors to develop compelling proposal responses.
- Review solicitation requirements and proposal content ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, compliant, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Monitor proposal progress, identify risks, communicate updates, and drive resolution of issues that could impact quality or submission deadlines.
- Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, quality, and attention to detail.
- Help identify market opportunities by monitoring RFP activity, industry trends, customer needs, and competitive information.
This U.S.-based role is ideally located in Raleigh, NC; however, we encourage applications from qualified remote candidates across the U.S.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in proposal coordination, project management, sales support, implementation, customer support, or business operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and follow complex requirements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Takes ownership, demonstrates sound judgment, and follows through on commitments.

The pay range for this position is $54,835 - $94,003 annually with a commission target of $5000 - $10,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
