Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

To lead as Project Manager Signalling, ensuring project delivery in terms of quality, schedule, and cost, and reporting to the Head of Projects:

  • Lead project delivery with local onshore team and offshore team in Europe (Design, R&D and manufacturing).
  • Responsible for the project P&L, working very closely with the Commercial PM.
  • Formulate efficient strategies to achieve project targets.
  • Drive the overall progress of the project (Installation, Trains, Coordination, T&C).
  • Own all contractual matters, working closely with the Contract Manager.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and advise on improvement measures, working closely with your respective core team members.
  • Ensure testing progress working closely with the T&C Manager.
  • Establish close relationships with customer project team for successful completion of various project stages.
  • Ensure compliance with LoA and QM Processes within Siemens in the areas of responsibilities. 

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

  • Substantial Project Management knowledge, with at least 5 years of experience as PM and at least 10 years’ experience in Signalling projects; experience in brownfield projects is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels and qualifications of professionals.
  • Knowledge of contracts and financial management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
  • Desirable knowledge in other railway core systems (electrification, rolling stock and telecommunications).
  • Ability to steer various professionals and subcontractors to meet project needs. Solid professional judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player who is analytical, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant PM Certification is a plus.
