Project Manager II-Technology
Executes tasks and objectives of moderately complex projects and team member assignments, with general supervision, in order to effectively meet project and assignment goals. Administers routine analyses of project requirements and assesses plan feasibility for improvement to provide strategic recommendations to enhance project deliverables based on detailed managerial assessments and direction. Identifies opportunities to evaluate project risks, supporting risk management strategies in order to contribute to the development of proactive risk mitigation strategies for successful project outcomes. Sets objectives and manages tasks on larger projects and assignments with general oversight to contribute to project goals and develop a practical understanding of the job area roles and responsibilities. Provides guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and support employees on moderately complex projects in order to set objectives that align with project and assignment goals. Facilitates effective engagement with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to aid in maintaining positive stakeholder relationships and alignment with project objectives. Meets regularly with team members to discuss the current and scheduled progress of key projects against set deadlines, gathering input on any potential delays or obstacles to progress swift review, analysis, and corrective action. Utilizes practical knowledge and experience obtained through advanced education and job experience to contribute effectively to projects and assignments within the job area. Works to achieve operational targets, often on smaller, less complex projects or task-related activities in order to contribute to the accomplishment of departmental results through task completion and adherence to guidelines.
