Vacancy: Project Manager (Distribution & Industrial Sector)

Are you ready to take ownership of a high-growth portfolio and lead the next generation of project delivery?
As our Project Manager for the Distribution and Industrial Sector, you will be the driving force behind a portfolio currently valued at £5M, with a strategic mandate to scale this to £10M.
You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from supporting the capture team during bid preparation to ensuring flawless execution in the field. This is a leadership role where you will mentor a dedicated team of project professionals, championing the PM@Siemens methodology to deliver world-class Protection, Control, and Automation solutions to our industrial and distribution customers.
This role will be based out of our Hebburn office, 2-3 days per week on a hybrid working basis. Travel to other Siemens sites and customers locations in the UK will also be required as the need arises.
You will make a difference by
Driving Portfolio Success: Taking full P&L responsibility, ensuring we meet and exceed EBIT targets through innovative Value-Added Management (VAM) and rigorous cost control.
Leading & Developing People: Acting as a line manager and mentor, you will recruit, resource-plan, and develop a multi-disciplined team, ensuring they have the skills to meet future market demands.
Championing Excellence: Implementing PM@Siemens processes to minimise Non-Conformance Costs (NCCs) and driving continuous improvement initiatives like Digitalisation and Process optimisation.
Building Partnerships: Developing deep, long-term relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities beyond the initial scope to add value to their operations and grow our business.
Ensuring Safety & Quality: Maintaining an uncompromising focus on HSE legislation and corporate standards to protect our people and our reputation.
What we are looking for
- Significant knowledge of the Distribution & Industrial Protection, Control and Automation sectors.
- Proven success in managing multi-disciplined teams throughout the Project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies including risk/opportunity, claim management and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent motivational and descion making skills
Desirable but not essential
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related subject) or equivalent industry experience.
- Certified accreditation as a Project Manager (e.g., APM or similar).
- Prior leadership experience.
