Position Overview:

As a Project Manager at Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will lead the successful delivery of complex Digital Manufacturing and Digital Transformation projects for industrial customers.

You will be responsible for managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through implementation, deployment, and transition to operations. Working closely with customers and cross-functional Siemens teams, you will ensure that project objectives, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations are successfully achieved.

In this role, you will work with customers to understand their manufacturing strategies, business processes, operational challenges, and digital transformation objectives, and translate them into structured project execution plans. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to implement integrated digital solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, engineering-to-manufacturing collaboration, production visibility, quality, and operational performance.

The successful candidate will combine strong project management capabilities with a solid understanding of Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Manufacturing IT, and enterprise software environments. You will also serve as a trusted partner to customers, helping them realize measurable business value from Siemens Digital Industries Software solutions

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Digital Manufacturing and Digital Transformation projects from project initiation through successful completion.

• Work closely with customers to understand manufacturing processes, operational requirements, business objectives, and digital transformation strategies.

• Lead projects focused on manufacturing digitalization, process optimization, automation, and integration.

• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, success criteria, governance, and resource requirements.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering schedule, resources, budget, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.

• Manage project execution to ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

• Establish project governance, reporting structures, project reviews, and steering committee processes.

• Monitor project performance and proactively identify deviations, risks, issues, and corrective actions.

• Manage scope changes, dependencies, assumptions, and customer change requests.

• Drive issue resolution and escalation across customer and Siemens organizations.

• Ensure successful project closure, including customer acceptance, knowledge transfer, lessons learned, and transition to support or operations.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Contribute 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Process Improvement, or related roles in shipbuilding industry with a focus on building equitable and effective processes.

• Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing and Smart Manufacturing concepts, architectures, and implementation approaches.

• Work closely with customers to understand manufacturing processes, operational requirements, business objectives, and digital transformation strategies.

• Lead projects focused on manufacturing digitalization, process optimization, automation, and integration.

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 standards, manufacturing data management, process standardization, or manufacturing system architecture is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field..

• PMP or other recognized project management certification is preferred.

• Experience in shipbuilding industry is preferred.

Additional Information:

• This role is primarily on customers’ site to work with customers.
