Brief description of the position:

Leading your team of Project Managers for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Localization Projects in the area of industry, power distribution and final distribution applications.

The success of PLM/Localization Projects is one of the key drivers for the success of our Business Segment. Project Management is a core function in our overall Business Segment organization to ensure the success of our portfolio and business.

Tasks:

- Live, show and emphasize the project ownership mindset in your team

- Leading your team of 6 Project Managers to ensure the overall Project Management tasks

- Planning and tracking of resources, investment, timeline and cost as well as measures for productivity improvement.

- Leading professionally international project teams. In doing so ensuring compliance with Siemens-internal processes and conducting risk management.

- Sorting of requirements, defining of work packages for the PLM team members and coordinating of cooperation within the project team as well as with Segment-external partners.

- Structured preparing of assigned topics, preparing of management decisions, taking technical and commercial decisions within the project order.

- Monitor all projects together with your Project Managers to recognize deviations and risks at an early stage and define the right mitigation measures

- Project reporting within the Segment and/or Steering Committee.

- Change Management to successfully establish the role of Project Manager in the Segment organization.

Responsibilities:

The Head of Project Management is responsible for ensuring the overall project KPIs such as R&D Budget, Investment Budget, Product Performance, Product Cost, Quality and Timeline for assigned projects.

Candidate Profile:

Technical or engineering studies
Multi-year experience in Project Management of PLM and/or Localization Projects in the area of B2B product business
Experience in leading teams
Inspiring ownership mindset
Very good leadership skills
Change Management skills
Interpersonal skills to manage multiple function interfaces
Strength in systematic and well-organized work
Teamwork, creativity, empathy and flexibility skills to drive and solve tasks
Intercultural experience to work with international teams
