Description

Please submit your CV in English in order to be considered for the role.

With 80,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the world’s largest global fast-charging network. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep customers charged when they’re away from home. Tesla is also building out the Megacharger network globally for heavy-duty trucks.

As charging infrastructure expands across Belgium and Luxembourg, we are hiring a Project Developer to grow both the Supercharger and Megacharger networks by finding and securing the best sites. Day to day, you’ll drive market research, business analysis, new propositions, site-host prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and deal close.

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of Belgium’s local economic development landscape and an established network of contacts across real estate, public authorities, and energy stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure charging sites by engaging site hosts, real estate agents, grid operators, public authorities, and other key partners, and pitching Tesla’s charging proposition
  • Assess potential locations for planning/zoning status and power availability
  • Review lease contracts and lead negotiations to secure suitable sites
  • Build and execute a robust Supercharger and Megacharger network strategy across the BeLux market, with a strong focus on customer experience
  • Hand over projects cleanly to Design and Construction, and support through to site commissioning
  • Stay current on market conditions, business trends, and charging-industry developments

Requirements

  • Fluency in French and Dutch (Flemish) is mandatory
  • Fluency in English
  • 3+ years in a commercial / business development role in real estate, charging, or renewable energy
  • Strong knowledge of the Belgian economic development landscape, with an established local network of relevant contacts (Luxembourg network is a plus)
  • Proven experience building a development pipeline from scratch in the field
  • Working knowledge of the full development process, including permitting, contractor selection, and construction implementation
  • Entrepreneurial, data-driven mindset with a bias to find and act on opportunities
  • Ability to manage 15+ projects in parallel and hit deadlines
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively (typically 3–4 days per week, including overnight stays)
  • Valid driver’s licence
