Are you passionate about turning talent strategies into programs that create a meaningful employee and manager experience?

Would you like to work in a global, innovative, and dynamic organization where you can contribute across multiple areas of Talent Development? This opportunity may be for you.

What This Role Is

Our Talent Development team is focused on building the capabilities, skills, and talent practices needed to support Genesys' business strategy and create a high-performance culture.

We are looking for a Program Manager, Talent Development to manage and support key global talent initiatives across areas such as Performance Management, Talent Management, Skills, Career Development, and Employee Development.

A key area of responsibility will be the program management of BetterUp, partnering with HR, IT, business stakeholders, and our external partner to support the program's ongoing evolution, adoption, and integration into our broader Talent Development strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the program management of BetterUp, coordinating priorities, timelines, stakeholders, communications, adoption, measurement, and ongoing program enhancements.
  • Manage and contribute to global Talent Development initiatives across Performance Management, Talent Management, Skills, Career Development, and Employee Development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment, accountability, and effective execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify project dependencies, risks, and issues, proactively developing solutions and escalating when appropriate.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather feedback, and translate insights into program improvements.
  • Leverage data, employee feedback, and program metrics to evaluate effectiveness, demonstrate impact, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support change management, communications, enablement, and adoption activities associated with Talent Development programs and technologies.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive decisions and move initiatives forward.
  • Bring a continuous improvement and innovation mindset, exploring how technology and AI can simplify talent processes and create better employee and manager experiences.

You’ll report to the Talent Development Senior Director and work closely with the broader Talent Development team and partners across HR and the business.

The role is based in Budapest, Hungary, and will operate in a global environment, partnering closely with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones, including the US.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

You are a strong program manager who enjoys working at the intersection of people, processes, and technology. You can take an idea or business need and translate it into a structured plan, bring the right stakeholders together, and drive execution through completion.

You are comfortable operating in a global corporate environment, managing multiple priorities, and working with stakeholders at different levels of the organization. You are curious about Talent Development and interested in how technology, data, skills, coaching, and AI can improve the way employees grow and perform.

You combine attention to detail with the ability to understand the broader business context and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in Talent Development, Talent Management, Human Resources, Program Management, Project Management, or related areas.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools or emerging technologies to improve processes, employee experiences, or ways of working.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or programs in a global corporate environment.
  • Strong project and program management skills, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, risk management, and execution.
  • Experience partnering across functions and geographies, including with HR, business stakeholders, technology teams, and/or external vendors.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to Talent Development areas such as Performance Management, Talent Management, Skills, Career Development, Learning, Coaching, or Employee Development.
  • Experience implementing or managing HR technology, digital platforms, or technology-enabled programs is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to use data and insights to support decisions and demonstrate program impact.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
