Program Manager, Residential Solar & Storage Incentives
Description
Tesla is seeking a skilled and dynamic Incentives Program Manager to join our Tesla Energy team. The Incentives Program Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing our relationships with business partners, driving growth, and tracking the success of incentive, rebate & VPP programs. This position involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to help manage programs that promote clean energy adoption while creating reporting systems to measure program effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve common goals in the clean energy sector
- Identify opportunities for incentive programs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and design processes that align with our clean energy objectives
- Lead the execution of incentive programs, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely and successful delivery to partners
- Develop and maintain robust reporting systems to track program performance, providing regular updates to leadership and partners. Utilize data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and areas of success
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure that all programs comply with relevant standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer fulfillment, finance, and product development, to align programs with overall company strategy
- Continuously monitor the solar and clean energy market, identifying emerging trends and opportunities for innovation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in process/program management
- Strong communicator with experience managing B2B relationships and engaging diverse stakeholders; prior energy sector experience a plus; skilled at building trust and de-escalating challenging situations
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized; able to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and manage time in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; basic to intermediate skills in Tableau, SQL, Jira, or similar tools; proficient in standard productivity and document management applications
- Knowledgeable of or ability to quickly learn industry regulations and compliance standards; comfortable working with data to identify trends, measuring program performance, and inform strategic decisions
- Works well with others in a collaborative team environment while maintaining a sense of urgency and adaptability
- Great problem-solving skills with the flexibility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving processes; embraces AI tools and emerging technologies to drive smarter, faster solutions
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required; willingness to travel occasionally to regional office locations
