We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Program Manager / Executive Assistant to support the ANZ Public Sector State & Local Government (SLG) business. This role combines day-to-day business planning and coordination with executive support to the Head of Government. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable operating across multiple workstreams, and brings strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key job responsibilities
  • Support the ANZPS SLG leadership team with day-to-day operational planning, cadence management, and business rhythm activities (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, and planning cycles)
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across sales, specialist, partner, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on SLG priorities
  • Track and report on key business metrics, pipeline health, goal attainment, and operational KPIs
  • Maintain and manage team planning documents, trackers, and dashboards
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying process gaps and implementing improvements
  • Support annual and mid-year planning processes (OP1/OP2) including data gathering, narrative coordination, and timeline management
  • Coordinate hiring activities including interview scheduling, candidate tracking, and onboarding logistics
  • Executive Assistance to Head of Government
  • Manage complex calendar scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting for the Head of Government
  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and pre-reads for internal and external meetings
  • Coordinate executive-level engagements with government customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Draft and manage correspondence
  • Organise team events, offsites, and leadership forums

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience
  • 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
