About the Role

We are looking for an L5 Program Manager to join Delivery Product Insights & Rollouts and own product and rollout readiness across a major Uber Delivery Persona. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Tech, CX, Operations and Data, and is accountable for turning complex launch information into a clear, trusted readiness view and recommendation.

The role will likely own a Persona lane and may flex across Personas as business priorities evolve. As the broader xLOB operating model develops, the role may also contribute to Quality and continuous experience improvement.

This role requires end-to-end ownership. The right person can understand the product and technical system deeply enough to identify what can impact the customer or support experience, evaluate the evidence, challenge assumptions, drive cross-functional decisions, and hold the organization to a clear readiness bar.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end readiness for material product and technology rollouts within an assigned Persona, from early planning through launch, scale and post-launch monitoring
  • Build and communicate a clear, decision-ready readiness POV that brings together the recommendation, evidence and break-glass metrics, risks, gaps that could change the decision, and owners / next steps
  • Translate product requirements, technical dependencies, CX policy, operational constraints and data into a coherent view of launch readiness; identify where gaps in the underlying product, technology or experience could affect the outcome
  • Partner with Product and Tech to identify dependencies and failure modes early, shape prioritized roadmap asks, and ensure material launch risks have the right validation, testing and monitoring mechanisms
  • Lead cross-functional readiness reviews and drive teams toward decisions, escalating unresolved blockers or accountability gaps when normal mechanisms are not working
  • Represent the Persona in Product and Tech planning and use launch / post-launch evidence to identify experience opportunities, improve quality, and strengthen the readiness model over time
  • • Partner with central capabilities to apply common standards while preserving the Persona context required for strong readiness and experience decisions.

What Success Looks Like

  • Product and Tech leaders receive one trusted readiness signal ahead of material launch / scale decisions, with clear recommendation and accepted risk
  • Material technical, CX and operational dependencies are identified early enough to change the launch trajectory
  • The Persona has a stronger product and support experience through improved quality, targeted experience improvements, and clearer feedback into Product / Tech planning
  • The readiness system is repeatable, decision-oriented and increasingly independent of manual coordination

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, product operations, product management, technical program management or a related field
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer support, operations, automation, AI / agent technology, or other complex customer-facing technology environments
  • Experience with launch readiness, quality, experimentation, post-launch monitoring or continuous experience improvement
  • Experience representing a business or customer experience in Product and Tech planning
  • Experience working across multiple geographies, Personas or business lines; SQL or comparable analytical experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs across Product, Engineering / Tech, Operations, CX and other partner teams
  • Technical product fluency, with the ability to understand product architecture, dependencies, workflows, configurations and failure modes well enough to ask the right questions and challenge assumptions
  • Analytical and data fluency, with the ability to independently interrogate data, evaluate evidence quality, identify inconsistencies and use evidence to make or challenge decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguity into a clear recommendation, operating plan and accountability structure, and to influence senior stakeholders without authority
