What will you do?
As Product Quality Manager for Siemens Ruggedcom Networks and Level Measurement portfolios, you ensure quality excellence across the entire product lifecycle by translating customer and regulatory requirements into robust quality plans, proactively managing risks and incidents, ensuring successful product introduction, and participating cross-functional collaboration, audits, and continuous improvement based on data and lessons learned.
- Advise the Product Owner on quality topics and strategic decisions
- Advise the Head of Product Quality Managers on quality topics specific to Ruggedcom and Level
- Escalate major process deviations to Management
- Stop activities, when necessary, in coordination with Management
- Ensure customer, regulatory and normative requirements are captured and translated into quality specifications
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Set measurable product quality objectives aligned with business and customer needs
- Identify technical and process risks early in the development cycle
- Conduct risk assessments during planning and design phases
- Ensure lessons learned from field failures are fed back into processes
- Support internal and external audits, manage findings and corrective actions
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing and Product Management on quality aspects
- Ensure cross-functional cooperation to achieve quality business goals
What will you need to succeed?
- 3+ years’ experience in Quality Management Systems and Integrated Management Systems
- Strong understanding of quality standards, regulations and compliance (CE marking, product safety)
- Proficiency in quality methodologies: 8D, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, QFD, Quality Gates
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and verification/validation processes
- Understanding of product lifecycle management and non-conformance management
- Strategic thinking and advisory skills with confidence to exercise veto authority
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong change management capabilities and analytical problem-solving mindset
- Results-oriented with focus on continuous improvement
- Data-driven decision-making approach and customer-centric mindset
Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 85,000 CAD - 110,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of 18% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.
