Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Control Planning Engineer to support production planning, scheduling, and execution activities. The role is responsible for ensuring material availability, maintaining optimal production flow, and helping achieve delivery, inventory, and service level targets through effective planning, coordination, and data-driven execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the production plan based on customer demand, forecasts, and capacity availability.
  • Monitor daily and weekly production progress and highlight risks, delays, or shortages.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, quality, device engineer and division planners to support smooth operations.
  • Track and update material availability to avoid production disruptions.
  • Analyze production constraints, identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions.
  • Support SAP system transactions, data accuracy, and planning parameter updates.
  • Follow up on work orders, schedules, and priority changes to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare planning reports and KPIs such as schedule adherence, delivery performance, inventory levels, and shortages.
  • Support new product introduction, transfer, ramp-up, and change management activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support office automation initiatives to improve reporting, data handling, and planning workflows.
  • Develop or maintain automated tools, templates, dashboards, or macros to reduce manual effort and improve productivity.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Excel VBA, Python, or SQL is highly desirable.
  • Escalate issues impacting plan attainment and propose solutions in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital supply chain management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and manufacturing planning processes is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or academic project experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing, or data automation.
  • Experience or exposure to electronics, semiconductor, automotive, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SAP  systems.
  • Understanding of capacity planning, inventory control, and demand/supply balancing.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Excel VBA, Python, or SQL.
