Amazon Prime Video is seeking a Production Finance Analyst III to manage entertainment production finance for our growing Mexico operations. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our original content investment strategy, working directly with production teams, local producers, and global stakeholders to ensure financial excellence across ambitious television and film projects.

Key job responsibilities
Manage production execution budgets for original content shows in Mexico, providing weekly financial status reports to the Latin America Production Finance team including purchase orders, funding updates, and critical production finance information
Serve as the primary financial liaison between multiple original television productions and Amazon Studios finance team, reviewing production budgets, cost reports, trial balances, and reconciliations prepared by show accountants
Oversee production incentive workflows to secure tax credits and cash rebates, while managing Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance and complex cross-border financial requirements specific to the entertainment industry
Collaborate with Line Producers, Production Managers, and cross-functional teams including Legal, Tax, Business Affairs, and Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting, proper account reconciliation, and seamless production cash flow management
Develop and implement innovative financial reporting processes, controls, and policies that enable effective controllership while supporting the rapid growth and complexity of Prime Video's original content business

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of entertainment deal making, representing or working for a major scripted production company, studio, network, record label, or music publisher experience
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings, or experience in a data center or other critical environment
- Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions, or experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- · 5-7 years of experience in production finance/accounting and an analytical frame of mind
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or a Bachelor's degree and experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously and driving goals to completion
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving, or experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
