About the Role
Goldin is seeking a highly creative and driven Production Assistant to join our growing content team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the content team that brings our brand, stories, and collectibles to life across digital platforms, live events, and company initiatives. Reporting directly to the team’s Creative Producer and working closely with producers, editors, production coordinators, and the social media team, you'll help be a part of creating premium content that engages collectors and fans around the world.
The ideal candidate has an understanding of the various steps that go into producing content for social media platforms, as well as YouTube, and thrives in several fast-paced production environments. You should be equally comfortable pitching new ideas for our digital platforms, filming social friendly content, editing videos when needed, and multitasking on several projects at once.
Responsibilities:
Video Production: Capture video/photo content for social media, product features, and behind-the-scenes content. Assist gathering media assets that will support storytelling for collectibles including trading cards, game-worn memorabilia, comic books, movie props, coins, magazines, and other unique items.
Social-First Content Creation: Capture content with social platforms and the final edit in mind, mainly vertical (9:16) and occasionally horizontal (16:9). Be comfortable filming quick-turn social content using iPhones.
Creative Development: Contribute ideas for social content, YouTube videos, recurring series, event coverage, and new creative formats. Stay current on social trends, production techniques, platform trends, and emerging creative tools.
Production Support: Support producers and the broader content team throughout pre-production, production, and post-production. Assist with equipment prep, set builds, shoot logistics, talent needs, shot lists, and other day-to-day production responsibilities.
Event & On-Location Coverage: Travel as needed to card shows, live events, auctions, off-site shoots, and special productions. Capture social, behind-the-scenes, interview, and event content efficiently in dynamic environments.
B-Roll & Digital Asset Management: Assist with organizing and archiving footage following shoots, including backing up media, maintaining organized project folders, labeling footage, and helping manage Goldin’s growing library of B-roll and production assets.
Post-Production: Assist with video editing and quick-turn content when needed. A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, is preferred, with experience in programs such as Adobe Affter Effects considered a plus.
Fast-Paced Execution: Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, adapt quickly when production needs change, and be willing to jump between creative and logistical responsibilities to help the content team execute at a high level.
Required Experience
Professional Background: 1-3+ years of professional experience, preferably within content, media, sports, entertainment, or digital marketing environments.
Social Media Knowledge: Understanding of how content is captured differently for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and emerging digital platforms, with an emphasis on audience retention and engagement.
Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel for productions, auctions, sporting events, conventions, and other company initiatives when needed.
Adaptability: Ability to work independently, manage multiple productions simultaneously, pivot quickly in changing production environments, and consistently deliver under tight deadlines. As well as working occasional nights and weekends.
Portfolio: A portfolio or demo reel showcasing media work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with content creation in sports, collectibles, luxury products, entertainment, live events, or creator-driven content.
- A passion for sports, pop culture, gaming, and collectibles is a major plus.
- Highly efficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and basic post-production workflows to better collaborate with editors.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience operating in fast-paced production environments and capturing content for immediate social media turnaround.
- Familiarity with production planning tools, Frame.io, Airtable, Slack, and collaborative creative workflows.
