Summary

At Apple, we believe our most important resource is our people. You'll help shape the technology that brings extraordinary people to Apple. The Recruiting Technology team builds the systems that power how Apple attracts, evaluates, and hires talent, serving recruiters, candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting leaders, and we're reimagining those systems with AI and configurability at the center of how they're designed. We're looking for someone to make the work, and the team building this future better at the work itself.

Description

You'll take on the ambiguous, cross-functional problems that don't belong to any single Product Manager; you will work at the intersection aligning priorities, plans and measurement strategies to ensure success. You will define and drive how we use AI to do all of it better. You'll report to Recruiting Technology's product leadership, helping turn strategy into execution rather than solely administering it. You'll manage complexity rather than people, increase what this organization is capable of, and deliver meaningful results.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and continuously improve an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related internal recruiting technologies and integrations.
  • Partner with our product leader to turn strategy into an actionable agenda, connecting priorities to roadmaps, capacity, and outcomes across annual and quarterly planning, portfolio decisions, OKRs, and capacity tradeoffs. Surface gaps early and keep momentum on what matters most.
  • Define the metrics that matter for recruiting technology investments, inform and drive the data strategy, and turn that data into insight: what we're accomplishing, where we're falling short, and where to invest next.
  • Identify and clear the organizational friction and process gaps that keep product, design, and engineering teams focused on transformative work, mapping dependencies across teams and systems so fixes hold end to end
  • Influence roadmap and prioritization decisions across partner teams, serving as the connective tissue that keeps strategy and execution aligned.
  • Facilitate workshops with senior leaders and partners, working through competing perspectives to reach real decisions.
  • Translate ambiguous business and recruiting needs into structured analysis, clear product requirements, and scalable process recommendations — accounting for people, technology, compliance, and candidate experience.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Find and prototype ways to use AI across our work, from automating recurring analysis and accelerating research and synthesis, to helping the organization operate with the same AI-forward mindset we're building into the product itself.
  • Collaborate across time zones as part of a global team and ground your work in Apple's values including inclusion and diversity, privacy, accessibility and and data protection/regulatory requirements across regions (e.g., EEO/OFCCP, GDPR, and local data residency requirements given our global footprint).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, strategy and operations, business operations, or a comparable role within a technology product organization.
  • Experience as a product manager or technical partner in an in-house HR, recruiting product or process role designing and implementing cross-system recruiting processes from design through delivery, including ongoing support and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and shipping a specific AI-powered product feature or capability end-to-end, from requirements through launch with measurable impact on user experience, adoption, or cycle time.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or significantly improving how a product organization operates: planning cycles, prioritization, operating rhythms, or decision-making, with evidence of what changed as a result
  • A track record of leading cross-functional partnership across product, engineering, design, data, and business teams, known as the person others turn to for alignment, including partnering with senior leadership.
  • Facilitation experience that produces decisions, not just discussion, with leaders who hold competing views.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools in an AI-forward design approach.
  • Strong analytical skills: you can independently frame a question, work with data to answer it, and translate findings into recommendations for leadership. Experience with OKRs or comparable goal frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI to streamline team workflows.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving toward practical, well-reasoned solutions with minimal oversight in fast-paced and changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading teams through periods of significant organizational change.
  • Experience in recruiting, HR, or People technology, and familiarity with People team operating models and processes.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-enabled workflows at scale, spotting repetitive manual work and operational bottlenecks and automating them.
  • Experience designing business processes at the intersection of people, technology, and compliance.
  • Working experience in Agile development methodology and modern product development practices.
  • Experience working in complex global environments.
