YOUR ROLE 

  • Take ownership of daily Burn-in (BI) operations, including planning, monitoring, and issue follow-up.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Burn-in recipes (BI recipes) according to product requirements and reliability specifications with cooperation with BI expert
  • Provide engineering support to Asia OSATs, including tracking and coordinating engineering activities, trials, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze mass production yield, identify root causes for yield loss, and drive continuous improvement actions.
  • Work closely with internal teams (product engineering, quality, and planning) and external OSAT partners to ensure smooth production ramp-up and stable high-volume manufacturing.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and procedures related to burn-in and OSAT engineering activities.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing / backend processes (assembly, test, burn-in, reliability), with more than 5 years of experience
  • Strong data analysis skills, familiar with relevant tools such as Excel, Minitab, or similar.
  • Good problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities, with a structured and result-oriented mindset.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken; able to communicate effectively with overseas teams and OSAT partners.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in burn-in, reliability test, product engineering, or backend manufacturing is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with OSATs and understanding of subcontractor management and follow-up.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), yield analysis methodology, and basic quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
  • Familiarity with automation systems, test handlers, burn-in boards, and burn-in ovens.
