Overview

Microsoft 365 is a cornerstone of Microsoft's cloud strategy and of our mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. The Admin Agentic Experiences team owns a strategic, board-visible bet: making the administrator experience agentic, so that IT professionals can reason, plan, and act across Copilot, Agents, and Microsoft 365 with the trust, safety, and auditability enterprises require.

We are looking for a customer-obsessed, analytical Product Manager to own a major slice of the Admin Agentic Experiences charter end to end, from strategy through shipped experience. The product is at an inflection point: we are moving from an experience that primarily informs to one that reasons, plans, and acts across Microsoft 365 workloads, at the trust, safety, and auditability bar enterprises require.

Administrators are the decisive gatekeepers of Copilot and Agents adoption. They decide when a capability is safe, compliant, and ready to roll out. Your work will close the reasoning and actionability gaps these admins are explicitly asking for, and will span scenarios that reach across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, Commerce, Message Center, Service Health, and more. The scope carries real ambiguity and demands influence well beyond your own team, so you should be comfortable setting direction where none exists yet and bringing partner teams along with you.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy-to-execution plan for high-frequency, high-impact admin scenarios, and define what success looks like in measurable terms.

  • Engage directly with IT administrators and partners to understand their jobs to be done, and translate that understanding into agentic experiences that reason, plan, and act.

  • Define AI-powered experiences that meet the enterprise bar for trust, safety, grounding, and auditability, working closely with responsible AI and compliance partners.

  • Drive cross-domain orchestration with the Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, Commerce, and Message Center and Service Health teams to expand persona and scenario coverage.

  • Partner with data science and analytics teams to build the telemetry, evaluation, and quality loops that show whether the agent is genuinely helping admins.

  • Refine and scope front-end requirements from deep empathy for the admin journey, delivering experiences that feel simple even when the underlying orchestration is not.

  • Build strong working relationships with engineering teams across geographies, and hold a clear bar for on-time, high-quality delivery.

  • Drive the operational processes for capturing, prioritizing, and removing adoption blockers, and connect the work to downstream outcomes such as Copilot license assignment, sustained usage, and support incident deflection.

  • Support our goals for diversity and inclusion through everyday actions and communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • 4 to 7 years of product management experience, including running complex matrixed programs with detailed product definition and interpersonal negotiation.

  • Hands-on experience with AI and current developments in the field, including practical exposure to building or shipping AI-powered experiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence and drive decisions.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, enterprise IT management, or adjacent control-plane products, and an understanding of what enterprise administrators are accountable for.

  • Knowledge of agentic or conversational AI systems, including orchestration, grounding, evaluation, and the trust and safety considerations that come with taking action on a customer's behalf.

  • Proven track record of going technically deep and delivering cloud-scale technologies.

  • Skill in navigating complex organizational structures with loose affiliations and competing priorities, and in negotiating common ground to drive prioritization of key deliverables.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to listen, distill information into insights, and tailor the message to different audiences from engineers to executives.

  • Experience with prototyping or wireframing tools to communicate ideas quickly to stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and make progress in ambiguous environments.

  • This is a chance to shape how millions of administrators run Microsoft 365 in an agentic world, on a charter with executive visibility and a real user base. You will work with a growth-minded group of product managers, engineers, and designers who care as much about the craft of the experience as about the metrics it moves. If you want to take an early-traction product to the next inflection point and grow considerably while doing it, this is the role. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
