Product Manager - AI Agent Creation, Discovery and Lifecycle
We are looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on Product Manager to lead the client-facing platform through which financial professionals create, discover, configure, test, deploy, share, and manage AI agents that help them get real work done within ASKB and across relevant Bloomberg experiences. This is one of the core pillars of ASKB’s broader AI product strategy and a critical part of enabling Bloomberg clients to delegate meaningful work to ASKB.
AI agents can help clients move beyond asking questions to giving ASKB a well-defined objective and trusting it to carry the work through to a useful result. The opportunity is to shape an extensible platform that makes this kind of work easy to configure, discover, adopt, trust, and reuse across a growing range of workflows. Clients should be able to understand what ASKB can take on, find or create an agent suited to their needs, provide the right context and constraints, and let the system carry the work through without remaining in an active back-and-forth. They can then return to a completed result or artifact they can review, refine, and build on. Institutions also need appropriate controls for ownership, sharing, permissions, and governance.
As the Product Manager for AI Agent Creation, Discovery and Lifecycle, you will be the voice of the client and own the vision, business objectives, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for this pillar. Your scope will extend from a client’s initial goal through agent discovery or creation, configuration, testing, execution, successful completion, sharing, reuse, governance, and ongoing management. You will be accountable for strengthening the complete ecosystem loop: making valuable work easier to delegate, enabling high-quality creation, helping the right capabilities reach the right users, turning discovery into successful outcomes, and using participation and feedback to improve the platform over time. You will work closely with Engineering, UX, AI, other Product teams, Sales, Market Specialists, Support, and clients. This is a senior Product Management role within Bloomberg’s broader AI strategy.
The right candidate will combine exceptional product judgment and strategic thinking with client empathy, platform and ecosystem experience, execution discipline, and a strong habit of hands-on experimentation with generative and agentic AI.
We’ll Trust You To
- Define and execute the vision, business objectives, key results, and roadmap for the client-facing experiences that allow Bloomberg clients to delegate bounded work to ASKB and receive completed results and artifacts.
- Act as the voice of the client across the platform’s different participants, including clients delegating work, users shaping and sharing reusable ways of working, institutional administrators, Bloomberg contributors, Sales, Market Specialists, and Support.
- Own the end-to-end journey from a client’s initial goal through scoping, configuration, execution, completion, review, refinement, reuse, sharing, and ongoing management.
- Shape how ASKB communicates what work it can take on and how clients discover useful ways to put these capabilities to work across Bloomberg experiences, including library organization, search, filtering, sorting, recommendations, and discovery within conversations.
- Develop the product strategy and mechanisms that create a self-reinforcing ecosystem in which successful work becomes easier to reuse, better discovery increases adoption, and usage and feedback improve how future work gets done.
- Develop progressive experiences that make delegating work approachable for new users while giving advanced users the precision, transparency, and control they need over how that work is carried out.
- Define the lifecycle capabilities required to test, evaluate, execute, version, share, govern, maintain, and retire the ways work is configured and reused responsibly at scale.
- Partner with other teams across ASKB and Bloomberg’s broader AI platform to translate capabilities such as tools, data, memory, permissions, triggers, and evaluation into a coherent client experience for AI Work in ASKB.
- Actively use and experiment with current generative AI products, particularly products that can take an objective, use tools and data, perform multi-step work, and produce useful outputs with limited supervision, continually assessing how emerging capabilities and interaction patterns can unlock meaningful value for Bloomberg clients.
- Define and track success measures across successful delegation and completion, time to first value, result and artifact quality, review and refinement, repeat adoption, reuse and sharing, client trust, and overall product quality.
- Use product data, client research, and evaluation results to identify friction, understand first-order and second-order effects, strengthen adoption and reuse, and adjust the roadmap to improve measurable outcomes.
- Lead previews, pilots, launches, and adoption initiatives in partnership with Engineering, UX, AI, Sales, Market Specialists, and Support.
- Communicate product strategy, priorities, trade-offs, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership, development teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
You’ll Need To Have
- At least 8 years of product management or equivalent product leadership experience, preferably in financial technology, enterprise software, workflow products, productivity tools, authoring systems, or platform products.
- Proven experience defining and scaling a client-facing platform or product ecosystem, including designing mechanisms through which users, customers, or internal experts create value that can be discovered, consumed, or reused by others.
- Demonstrated ability to think beyond individual features and direct user interactions to understand participant incentives, second-order effects, ecosystem health, and opportunities for compounding value.
- Proven experience defining product strategy and vision, business objectives, success measures, and phased roadmaps for complex and heavily used products.
- Experience owning products from customer discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, ongoing improvement, and scaling.
- Strong product judgment and a demonstrated ability to balance immediate client needs with long-term platform and ecosystem growth and coherence, while making technically sophisticated capabilities intuitive without sacrificing the flexibility and precision needed by advanced users or the control required by institutions.
- Experience working directly with clients to validate strategy, understand their workflows, and translate ambiguous needs into clear product decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead highly cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, UX or Design, go-to-market teams, senior stakeholders, and multiple technical dependencies.
- Experience defining product funnels, ecosystem metrics, and success measures and using telemetry, research, and customer evidence to drive prioritization and assess impact.
- Practical fluency in generative AI, including an understanding of how models, instructions, context, tools, permissions, and evaluation combine to shape behavior, reliability, and client trust when AI is completing work on a user’s behalf.
- A strong habit of hands-on experimentation with current AI products, particularly products that perform multi-step work and produce finished outputs or artifacts, with the curiosity and product judgment to identify which emerging capabilities can create meaningful client value.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence product direction across teams without direct authority.
We’d Love To See
- Experience shipping and scaling an AI-native product that allows users to delegate multi-step work, particularly experiences for defining, executing, evaluating, reviewing, sharing, or managing work designed for non-technical users.
- Experience with creator ecosystems, marketplaces, application platforms, or other products whose value grows when successful work can be discovered, shared, and reused by others.
- Experience with enterprise collaboration, sharing, permissions, governance, administration, auditability, or content lifecycle management.
- Experience designing progressive product experiences, including low-code builders, authoring tools, or platforms serving creators, consumers, administrators, novices, and expert users.
- Knowledge of financial markets and the research, portfolio management, sales and trading, or risk workflows used by Bloomberg clients.
- Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg’s client-facing product ecosystem.
